We are trialling the following changes: 1)Trial road closure to motor vehicles in Kings Lane over the railway bridge at the junction with Hillcroome Road/ Upland Road.
2) Pedestrians and cyclists will still be able use the bridge.
3) Trial 20mph speed limit in the roads south...
...of the railway between Banstead Road/ The Crossway/ The Downsway/ Brighton Road which are not already 20mph.
One resident told us that, despite initial reservations, he was now sold on the idea. After just a few days, he was impressed that children were already enjoying...
...the bit of road closed to through traffic. The intervention has also made it much safer for elderly people, people with disabilities, children and dog walkers to access Warren Park via the bridge on King’s Lane.
