1.) @PMOIndia, @DefenceMinIndia & 3 Chiefs. Continuing with the denial of medical care to defence veterans & their dependents in military hospital & inadequacies of ECHS. Another serious problem is acute shortage of availability of prescribed medicines in all most of the ECHS

2.) Clinics across d country. D availability has fallen to approx. 40%, forcing the veterans to buy medicines from d market with their own money & subsequently claim refund. D process of claiming money is so tedious, cumbersome & takes approx. 4 months to receive d claim money.

3.) It’s also extremely difficult for the widows to prepare and file the claims papers.
2.There is need to make available 100% prescribed medicines to the ECHS patients. Local purchase of any needs to be carried out by the OIC Polyclinic as was the purchase earlier.

4.) 3. There was also a proposal to the establishment of Pharmacy in each of the Polyclinic which needs to be revived with Standing Operating Procedure (SOP) in please.
4.The major problems of the ECHS is the lack of availability of required funds in the given time schedule.

5.) As informed, approx. 1000 crores worth bills of Empanelled Hospitals are pending to be clear. Consequently the empanelled hospitals are not accepting ECHS members for cashless treatment. In some cases due to the delay in the provision of medical care has caused human lives.

6.) 4.May we request you for your intervention to remove the fault lines in the provision of medical care to the defence veterans and their dependents. Regards, Jai Hind! Jai Bharat!
