The poll was done a few days before RBG died, and was on "if a vacancy occurred during the 2020 election year, the Senate should hold hearings on a nominee"
If this seems impossible to you, you may live in a bubble.
Some are saying that what people meant was that Senate should hold hearings in 2020, but wait until after Jan 20 inauguration to hold a vote. That would be 5+ week wait, so seems crazy to me to think that's what they meant.
Other more recent polls seem to show a big change of opinion. Either media has been very persuasive, or some polls are lying or misleading.
