I get so many queries along the lines of "I went to sign up for your Patreon but it looks like you closed it?" and I know that even more people probably reach that conclusion and then don't ask.
And also because a lot of people ask: I absolutely do not mind, begrudge, or resent people reading it for free (wouldn't make it readable for free if I did), or people who want to read some before they pledge. This is very much not a story for everybody.
I didn't actually start writing a story about an elven dickgirl trying to survive the gig economy and the rental situation in a city riddled with eldritch and uncanny architecture while solving a mystery with divination magic and ADHD brain because of mass market appeal.
2020 is as good a year as any to create exactly the art you want to exist in the world and count on it to find the people who also want to see it, and vice-versa.
It's not the only content on my Patreon, just the only new content recently. As the story gathers momentum, I'll be posting other, more standalone stuff. The spooky season is always good for me, creatively.
