Dear @HQNigerianArmy @DefenceInfoNG,

This is disturbing, disgusting & nauseating, to say the least. This alleged inhumanity going on & expect to ever be in peace?

A society can prosper with disbelief, but not with Injustice. This is inbedded in the concept of social justice in Islaam. This concept is deeply-rooted in how Allah created the heavens & earth.

Allah says:

“Verily, God does not do even an atom’s weight of injustice” (Qur’an 4:40).

In a Hadith Al-Qudsi, the noble Prophet, Muhammad ﷺ quotes Allah as saying, “O My Servants, I have forbidden injustice upon myself and have made it forbidden amongst you, so do not commit injustice.”

The concept of justice is central to Islaam & almost everything relies on it. Shirk (associating partner with Allah) for instance is the greatest sin in Islaam, & has as its bedrock Injustice (Az-zulm), which literally means placing something in a wrong place. Here it means,

Placing the worship of Allah to something or someone else while only deserves worship. The Qur’anic terminology which best describes social justice is the Arabic word "Al-qisṭ" (fairness) which covers all sense of equality & justice in distribution of everything equally.

The worst type of injustice is when you decide to take advantage of the weak and vulnerable, useless their lives & subject them to all forms of physical & mental humiliation. Allowing some randy animals take advantage of these poor people, suffering from the wrath of terror,

subjecting them into an equal and even worse terror of sexual abuse is the height of irresponsibility, animalistic behaviour & ungodliness.

As Muslims, we must understand that Islam is fundamentally a faith of activism. According to the Qur’an, an essential characteristic that

every Muslim should symbolise with is publicly participating in “enjoining good & forbidding evil” (Qur’an 3:110, 9:71).

How can we say we are Muslims & we allow such things to continue in our lands unchecked? What type of Muslims are we?

The Prophet (SAW) taught us that, “Beware the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between it and God.”

Do you think these oppressed girls are happy? Do you think they won't pray against this entire nation for allowing them to face this humiliation?

Do we think Allah will not fight their cause even if they didn't raise their hands and week for His help? Do we think it is coincidence how we fall from one calamity to another?

INJUSTICE IS A KILLER.

As custodians of Allah on Earth, establishing justice for all people is

of utmost importance, and hence it is those who stand for justice who receive Divine aid regardless of their ideological affiliation.

And yes, "a nation God will support a just nation, even if it be a nation that rejects faith, and He will not support an unjust nation even if it

be a nation full of believers."

Says, Imam Ibn Taymīyah (d. 728 AH/1328 CE) in Majmuʿ al-fatāwá, ed. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Qāsim, vol. 28 (Riyadh: Majmaʿ al-Malik al-Fahd li-Ṭibāʿat al-Muṣḥaf al-Sharīf, 2004), 63.

We call on all stakeholders to fear Allah & come into this.

From the Presidency, to the state governments, to the traditional & religious leaders. We must all act according to our powers.
