Major Trooper Christopher Hollingsworth has died after a single car crash in north Louisiana.
This trooper found out that he was being fired from state police for his actions in the death of Ronald Greene last year.
Some believe Hollingsworth ran his car off the road to avoid accountability.
The lawyers for Ronald Greene released the following statement: from Family Representatives Lee Merritt and Ron Haley on the death of Trooper Hollingsworth:
“Trooper Hollingsworth was one of the 7 officers under federal investigation in the brutal death of Ronald Greene. Trooper Hollingsworth’s family has the finality of knowing exactly how He died as their community mourns his loss. The family of Ronald Greene,
however, is still being denied the same finality by the State of Lousiana. We call on Governor Edwards to direct Attorney General Landry to release the body and dash came footage in order for the murder of Ronald Greene and subsequent cover up to be brought to light.
We also call for the immediate arrest of the remaining men responsible for this tragic and unnecessary death.”
Governor Edwards, the same people who guard you daily are responsible for the death of a citizen — your troopers killed Roland Greene,
you can’t throw this at everyone else. Release the tapes, show the citizens of this state what took place.
They lied, and if you fail to act Governor you are a part of the cover up as well.
