Supreme Court to continue hearing a plea seeking extension of college admission deadlines as CBSE #CompartmentExams have just begun and by the time results are announced, admissions would be over.

.@ugc_india has informed SC that admissions will close by October 31. CBSE is expected inform the court today on when would it declare the #compartmentexam results as the court had earlier indicated that academic career of 2 lakh compartment students cannot be hampered.

The Bench headed by Justice AM Khanwilkar is informed that the CBSE and UGC have exchanged communication.
Results for XIIth will be declared on or before October 12, SC is assured
Supreme Court takes the submission on record and disposes of the matter noting that the grievance raised in the petition has been addressed.
