Some UK ABAers claim
"But ABA is not sold as an autism treatment in the UK, that is just a N. America thing to get State funded."
"ABA is just a teaching method!"
"ABA is like normal parenting!".
Today we will be sharing links here to show such statements are nonsense.
@childautismuk claims ABA is an autism treatment here:

ABA org Easy Steps Early Years Interventions claims treating autistic kids with ABA can even lead to recovery.
Their site also says that ABA programmes are an NHS autism treatment (which it does not).
Wow what lies to missell ABA! @CAP_UK @ASA_UK

Discussing dosage, recovery, indistinguishable from peers, referencing the 1987 Lovaas study as what the intervention should be like (ie intensive and only ABA). No mention that best outcome were those without LD, or that aversives were used. .autismpartnership.co.uk/about-autism-y…
Per the UK Young Autism Project, Lovaas ABA is best autism treatment, characterised for success as:
Treatment in child’s natural environment
Intensive
Treatment ABA based
etc.
