So according to this summary a preliminary CI investigation was opened up on Danchenko in May of 2009, at some point became full and they even moved for FISA in July of 2010.
But by time they went for a FISA in July of 2010 he was back in Russia so they closed it, to reopen if and when he returned....
But diggers like me already new when he went back to Russia in 2009.
He went back to Perm to marry 22 year old Elena Alekseevna Systerova, on November 7, 2009 to be exact.👇
I've always found it odd that Iggy filed for divorce 18 months after separating, but just after he got laufmans sweetheart deal to be interviewed as PSS.

So the real question is how did Danchenko get a new visa to return to US in 2011, with his new bride, and the FBI never even noticed and reopened?

Wouldn't his March 2013 arrest in Greenbelt, MD for drunkenness and "failure to restrain" have been a red flag for the FBI?
Either these FBI CI guys sit around playing paddycake all day, or are corrupt brookings stooges, or both.
