Interacted with RWAs & all Ward Nodal officers regarding issues related to effective functioning of Ward committees in combating #COVID19. The following were discussed:

1 Ensuring that 3Ws are followed and 3Cs are avoided in all areas. (1/6)

2 COVID-like symptoms in any resident, drivers/maids to be immediately notified & tested

3 Ensure public health communication & actions are pursued not just in apartment area but also in slums/areas where people who work in apartments live. (2/6)

4 Testing camps to be owned & arranged by RWAs within & beyond their communities.

5. Support & help monitor those with mild or moderate illness in home isolation. Arrange tests/pulse oximetry measured for all elderly and those with comorbidities. (3/6)

6 Help in conducting medical camps in every ward, assembly area, polling station area & ensure all citizens are invited.

Organize gifts/incentives for those who mobilize more people to attend such camps. (4/6)

7. Invite people in IT & those active on social media to influence and spread awareness regarding testing & early recognition of breathlessness to prevent mortality

8. Organize online Quiz and community bonding exercises so that people share their experiences and support. (5/6)

Involve young people & children to spread awareness.

9 Covid19 is not over. The toughest challenge is NOW since there is free population movement everywhere. This is the time to be more careful. (6/6)
