Take note most days mainstream news has deceived the public by only quoting the state filing numbers, which is just half. In reality, total 1.5M state/fed claims equals to another 1.5M newly jobless. Averaged over 1.5M newly jobless EACH WEEK March to NOW!

Slightly under half the US population is statistically employed on normal # s. To put this into perspective, the US jobless population is increasing at a rate of MORE THAN the entire employed population of city of Chicago, each WEEK. Or half the state of Texas per MONTH!
I thought it had gone down by now. We are WAY past the peak of this, and yet we are at nearly twice the rate of weekly new jobless that happened at the peak of the 2008 recession. Far worse than I thought. Consequence of the GOP and dems refusing to agree on critical stimulus.

He was wrong, in the wrong way.
It's end of Sept and jobs are swiftly vanishing at a rate of 6M+/mo.
Things r even more dire. On top of that, employers of countless employees nationwide have been cutting salaries. They been cutting hours. And the senate rather keep going on recess, or rather, 'vacation', than passing proper stimulus.
Don't know who wants this less, dems or GOP?!
