💟 A person’s sense of justice comes from a variety of sources including faith traditions and secular education. Being Catholic, Baptist, Evangelical Christian, Muslim, Jewish, other faith, agnostic or atheist doesn’t disqualify a person from or qualify them for public office

When it comes to judicial nominees, generally speaking I look at their written opinions and other public statements to predict how they might decide important cases.

2/

Therefore, I do not support Amy Coney Barrett. However, there is no nominee put forward by Donald Trump who I would support. Ruth Bader Ginsburg should not be replaced until the inauguration.

3/

This is about precedent and fairness. McConnell and other R senators said there was a rule about holding hearings and voting on a SCOTUS nominee during the last year of a president’s term in office. What was good for Obama and Merrick Garland, is good for any Trump nominee

4/

Also, the voting in our election has already begun. Follow the Obama rule. Wait until January 20.
