Short Thread on why I believe this is a smokescreen👇
I believe Durham and the rest of the Barr team have 2 distinct (possibly 3) conspiracy cases.
If a conspiracy case wasn't being developed we would have seen a few indictments spread out and this would be over.
The first conspiracy was a conspiracy to defraud the government by pushing the false information into the FBI in the first place.
The second is what the FBI and special counsel did to keep it going and develop the "coup" after the election. It might be divided into 2 cases.
It's the first conspiracy case that I don't believe Barr will allow to wait until after the election. He knows he must air that one out now.
Why you ask?
Barr is greatly concerned about election fraud and what the democrats will try to do to delegitimize it if Trump wins.
He knows who will lead this effort and I believe that person/entity is at the very center of the first conspiracy case.

If Barr allows this to slide and let's the fate of the investigation to lie in the hands of the subject of the investigation all hell will break loose.
Better to slay the dragon now while it's sleeping than try to take it out while the village is burning.
