If @ABC is still paying @ChrisChristie to be a contributor/commentator, it needs to stop it now.
Christie at White House right now at yet another taxpayer-paid political event, where Trump is making a number of false statements, providing no evidence whatsoever of his claims.
And news reporters shouldn't be participating in these types of taxpayer-paid political events at the White House, where they sit quietly by as Trump makes a number of false statements, providing no evidence whatsoever to back up his claims.
This is not a news conference. It is a taxpayer-paid political event, where Trump is using the public airwaves/news publications to spread false/misleading information.
Why are news reporters participating in these taxpayer-paid political events?
Trump has no comprehensive health care plan. His Sept. 24 outlines/proposals do nothing to protect Americans' health care coverage or lower #drugprices. So how can Trump claim now again [for four years running] whatever he comes up with will be cheaper than #Obamacare/ #ACA?
News reporters who sit silently by while Trump makes false claims & fail to demand evidence are simply participating in & enabling his taxpayer-paid political events.
News reporters need to get up & leave when it's clear it's not a news conference but a taxpayer-paid political event, where Trump is repeatedly making false claims & providing no evidence whatsoever & where he's again using the event to bash his opponent & the press.
