Now that the @nytimes has exposed the deep financial trouble that Donald Trump is in, can we revisit all those times he has used *our* Presidency to funnel money into his failing properties?
Trump’s Turnberry property showed losses for four straight years.
Remember the shady deal he made to lease our USPS building to build his hotel in D.C.?
Of course, after he got it, he welshed on the parts that he agreed to.
But once he got that D.C. hotel, he could really start profiting from *our* Presidency.
A lobbyist for Saudi Arabia bought up 500 of his rooms after the 2016 election.
Boy, I bet that *really* helped Trump out of a bind, didn’t it?

Surely that massive favor didn’t have anything to do with Trump bypassing Congress to try to make an $8 billion arms sale to the Saudi kingdom, right?
I mean, even *Republicans* tried to block this one, but he just couldn’t refuse Saudi Arabia, could he?

Remember when we learned that he was *bigly* overcharging the Secret Service to stay and eat at his properties?
Boy, if it weren’t for this whole Presidency thing, Trump probably would have needed a major con just to stay out of the poor house. Like maybe Trump TV.
Of course, we all knew that his crown jewel - the Doral resort - was also having major revenue issues.

How could Trump inject some much-needed cash into his failing Doral property?
He could use the power of the Presidency to try to force world leaders to spend lots of money there - he could get cash from other countries’ tax coffers too!
