Some parts that jumped out to me. Trump’s property purchases have cost him money, not made him more wealthy.
It really looks to me like the story comes as close as possible as they could to saying that he paid the $750 in 2016 and 2017 so that, without releasing his taxes, he’d be able to say he paid taxes in both years.
A really interesting look at this question of whether the Trump kids, at least Ivanka, had their Trump Org jobs (and pay) AND also got paid as consultants for the same projects.

Finally: This is so unbelievably bad! If the president is personally on the hook for more than $400 million, we 100% should know exactly who he owes it to.
