Alcoholism is a serious disease, that can make you do stupid things. Hopefully he accepts treatment now.

A lot of my fellow Trump supporters are defending Brad Parscale after the release of the FLPD body cam footage of his arrest.

I disagree with them. None of us KNOW what he said or did before the very short video we now have.

I think Trump knew he was trouble so fired him.

Trump can tell when someone is an alcoholic or other substance abuser. The brother of an alcoholic who died from it has this finely tuned ability.

I think Parscale's problem got worse in recent months. We will inevitably get more info about it now.

Please keep an open mind.

The definition of alcoholism is when excessive drinking causes harm to the person or those around them.

Beware the "functional" alcoholic/drug addict.

An addict can only start to change once they've hit rock bottom.

Details here that are being overlooked or even denied by some.

Yes I know the media are extremely biased and often dishonest about conservatives. I also know the dynamics of domestic abuse better than I should. I had to learn about it the hard way.

I have both personal and professional experience with domestic abuse. I worked in government, advising on law changes, and programs to help survivors.

Yes there are false allegations, and they are terrible.

There are also genuine cases, and they are terrible.

Trying to excuse Parscale's conduct with "he's been under a lot of stress," does nothing for the Trump movement.

Tim Murtagh should not have commented on the treatment of Parscale by our opponents.

He's a very wealthy man, who needs medical care, not enabling and excuses.

In addition to the media info above, the local PD have released primary sources, so I encourage you to read/listen to/watch those before settling on your view of this.
