Yes, it does.
But we have met an inordinately high number of cradle Catholics who came to the Traditional Latin Mass after being "Charismatics".

It's easy for us to forget the complete upheaval of the 1960s and 1970s. Beliefs and practice simply disappeared in many places. And, for many people, the new "Charismatic Renewal" was a refuge they found for some semblance of Christianity and family life.

We see this in the life story of Judge Barrett's father, a permanent Deacon: one can simply read his testimony here and see that it happened exactly like this. But his seven children are a sign that his commitment to Catholic morals never failed.

So, let us be friendly and happy with our "Charismatic" coreligionists. They're doing their best, as they are able to see it, in this grave crisis of the Church, and some of them may end up in our local TLM.
