I do sometimes marvel with pride at what've been built with @RealVision and where its all going. Big plans a foot, as ever.
I mean on what other media in the world do you get this:
A shirtless @hendry_hugh in an alley beside his house, in St Barth, eating lunch (messily) while interviewing a less well-known but absolutely legendary bond trader.
And at the same time creating on screen magic
A smart, engaging, funny, intellectual, authentic conversation where everyone goes down the deep learning journey with Hugh.
This is a million miles from what anyone else is doing in financial media.
Yes, we have our own talented interviewers, most aren't camera trained, or fit any definition of "presenters".
They are all authentic and they are all smart and inquisitive. What you see is what you get...real people with a passion for RV.
But the big piece of Real Vision magic is that we do peer-to-peer interviews. They pretty much don't exist elsewhere in the media. It's deemed threatening to the star "hosts" or the founders, and is not "controllable."
That's the point!
Natural, irreverent, intellectual, authentic content is still rare in media.
But in this world, it should be ALL about the content of all types, the learning journey for everyone. And we actively encourage different people to take us on those journeys.
Disruption in media is NOT about moving to zoom interviews.
Disruption is about challenging EVERYTHING to create a new, magical and valuable experience for your members.
New media is ALL about your members.
It's all about community and two way dialogue. Not just a podcast or a video and a few tweets with your audience.
The Exchange, our new community platform, is going to be hugely disruptive, I think.
It is nascent but is developing fast.
Now our members, our RV team, our interviewers, our interviewees and our research providers all mix and SHARE ideas.
This is massively empowering for all and it's powerful too.
The future is happening, organically, from the ground up...

There is so much great content out there that many of you make too. Its not exclusive but inclusive. We are all part of this bigger community.
The stronger the community that forms, the bigger the revolution it can create.
That revolution is giving the power of knowledge to all.
And this revolution is just about to pick up pace....

@RealVision is also almost entirely unique that all of its extra capital needs over 6 years have come from our members.
