During today’s #COVID19 UPDATE, Lt. Gov. @JonHusted provided an exciting workforce update:
The Individual Micro-credential Assistance Program, IMAP, reimburses training providers up to $3,000 for each completed technology-focused credential issued, up to $250,000 per provider ⤵️
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid – also known as FAFSA - opens on October 1.
All students, high school seniors, current students, and adults interested in attending or returning to college should complete the #FAFSA.
Each year, Ohio families miss out on available financial aid because they don’t complete the FAFSA.
It is estimated that approximately 39 percent of students eligible for financial aid do not currently complete the FAFSA.

Moodys Analytics & CNN Business released their “Back to normal Index” which is comprised of 37 national & 7 state-level indicators. The index ranges from zero (no economic activity) to 100% (economy returning to pre-pandemic).
Ohio received a score of 88 and we ranked 10th best.
