Duplicate ballots in Virginia due to human error and printer labels bolloxing up the printer.
People cannot vote twice; should they, only the first will be counted.

Georgia's voting machines, which were installed just in time for the (COVID-delayed) primary, failed logic & accuracy testing last week. Georgia SOS says new software is needed but doesn't have time for independent testing; in-person voting starts Oct 12.

Making major changes in election processes in the months prior to an election are freaking challenging/hard
Doing so on in the midst of a pandemic and presidential election is ... supremely complicated.
JUST BECAUSE THE MACHINE PRINTS A BALLOT THAT SAYS X-Y-Z DOES NOT MEAN THAT'S HOW IT IS COUNTING. That's what logic and accuracy testing is supposed to identify. Introducing new code within days of voting is a recipe for a lack of trust in the outcome.
End. Of. Story.
We must use PAPER BALLOTS and not questionable electronic machines.
