Trump isn’t a bully. Trump is an abusive spouse. The belittling, insulting, blaming. Ignoring the pain, suffering, dying of thousands. His actions are aimed to hurt us, punish us, damage & maim us. He makes promises that never happen. He gut-punches us; we’re left confused, ...
...and upset, hurt, angry, damaged. He beats us down, destroys our belongings, sets fire to the house while saying at once that we’re lucky to have him yet to blame for the chaos. We tiptoe around, let him have his way, afraid that it will just be so much worse if we push back or
...contrary him. Yet that makes him stronger and he comes back stronger, more blatantly brash & violent. “One day, we’ll leave you...when the time is right.” But that reinforces him because he thinks he’s gained so much power over us we’ll let him stay forever, the abuse just
...growing. His beholder night was of an abuser. Angry, mean, ugly, lashing out, blaming everyone for his own weaknesses & incompetence. And supported by his family & friends, also abused. But how did such an ignorant, weak man become the abuser? And how do we stop this?
I'll add what my brilliant & astute friend @TabathaSouthey said in case you don't see it: Trump's victimhood, his constant whining & bitching about how, no matter how cruel & abusive he is to others, to us, HE is the real victim because look how much he's given up for us! He only
stays with us because WE need him! We can't survive without him. WE need HIM so he'll sacrifice himself, his riches, his easy life, for us so if we make him mad then it's understandable that he lashes out at us because we deserve it. As my friend @ANDREYEVSKY put it so well:
Chris Wallace’s behavior was entirely consistent with this: “Please, Mr. President. Please. You’ll LIKE this next question, Mr. President!”
“I’m sorry I made you angry. I made your favorite dinner!”
And we push a little but not too much and then, afraid of a mean tweet or a
*behavior last night
