There's a lot of Michigan House TV video of state Rep. @BeauMattLaFave not wearing a mask during the 9/22 and 9/24 House Judiciary Committee meetings last week in both the Capitol and the House Office Building, within 8 days of getting a positive test for #COVID19.

LaFave wore a mask for most of the 9/22 Judiciary Committee (top right), except when he spoke & asked questions of witnesses. I skimmed through the 9/24 hearing video and didn't see any mask use. At one point, he got up and walked out of the House Approps room for a little while.

Last Thursday, Rep. LaFave appears to have shouted his vote on a couple of bills in committee from the back of the House Appropriations Committee room. He's not shown on camera, but perhaps he was talking with someone.

Starts at 33:20-mark of this video:

A little update on the #COVID19 case with state Rep. Beau LaFave. He tells me he believes he was exposed to the virus on Tuesday by someone else who has tested positive. He also had a fundraiser that day for his leadership PAC, Superior Leadership Fund, at Karoub Associates.

Rep. Beau LaFave was supposed to have a fundraiser last Thursday night in the U.P. town of Powers w/ Speaker Chatfield & Sen. Ed McBroom.

But it got CANCELED because the Legislature was working late Thursday to pass the state budget

LaFave tested positive for #COVID19 on Friday
