More crews have arrived due to concerns about weather changes.
Fire activity NE of Calistoga - hand crews and dozers in place. Steep terrain. Very hard to work.
Angwin - Has not been impinged by fire. Working around community to establish control lines.

Silverado Trl - Some significant hotspots on Trail and Hwy 29 corridor. Burned through Napa River. Some fire burning through vineyards but not all worked as fire breaks.
White Hall Ln - warnings and evacs in place. There will be a firing operation to tie into Sonoma

Good firing operations in on Sugarloaf. Not out of the clear yet due to wind tomorrow.
Good success holding fire along Calistoga Rd.
Fire remains active near Diamond Mtn.

Officers are patrolling burn areas in Santa Rosa. No looting or burglaries in the City of Santa Rosa per Police Chief.

Santa Rosa Police Chief - Evac orders remain in place in many areas and it's "unlawful" for you to be there. City police are patrolling and you sneaking in wastes their time.
No re-entry passes being distributed.

Oakmont update - Lots of tactical patrol in and around area and Hwy 12. Hot spots in area.
Calistoga Rd - Hotspots still active. Tactical patrol.
Wind event is "serious" tomorrow. Be ready to leave if asked.

Sheriff Essick - 5 people were arrested who re-entered into an evacuation zone. No burglaries or looting. Apprehended before anything happened.
Sheriff is patrolling and protecting your properties.

They're going to be doing a lot of work around City of Calistoga, Hwy 29 corridor. They are concerned about the wind event. Similar to what we saw three days ago.
"Preparing for worst case scenario" says CAL FIRE.

Q: Any concerns about fire moving to Mark West drainage and Tubbs Fire scar?
A: Lighter fuels means easier for crews to suppress, but, still receptive - any ash fall could be worrisome. Weather event unlikely to cause any impact. Building control lines now.

Fire crossed Diamond Mtn and is up hillside above Calistoga. Area in region hasn't burned in a long time so very active.

What fuel is fire burning in? "Everything from timber to grasslands. Burn scars, etc."
Area fire burned primarily in Sonoma County was unburned in 80+ years.
