I'm just starting the Fredo Cuomo-Ted Cruz interview and so it's another chance to reiterate what a crew of juvenile Mean Girls CNN has. It's really pathetic and embarrassing how condescending and hateful they are.
Tell me how this helped anyone. The faces, the jabs, the interruptions. CNN has long ago become the thing they claim to hate
And yes, I'm transcribing the whole damn thing.
Was I up until 7am today? Yes.
Was I back in by 3ish? Yes.
Am I going to be here at the MRC until who knows? Yes.
But was it that stupid and worth it for you, the folks. Yes.
This was the build-up to the part about Fredo Cuomo's brother. Cruz is talking about wanting legislation for a tax credit for businesses to test their employees and then the childish Cuomo starts mocking him and invoking the time that he read Green Eggs and Ham. Pathetic.
I think I've found the screencap to use for the blog. This is Cuomo mocking Cruz for pointing out how the Disney layoffs weren't happening in Florida where Disney properties are open, but in California where Democrats have kept things closed.
This snippet is just *chef's kiss*
CUOMO: What do you do when people are getting sick, Senator? And you don’t —
CRUZ: Well, you —
CUOMO: — test them?
CRUZ: — you don't send them to —
CUOMO: And they don't wear masks —
CRUZ: — nursing homes.
CUOMO: — and you tell them not to?
Q-tip guy said this:
CUOMO: I'm raising my voice to match your own, because you want to play games, Ted —
CRUZ: And you were yelling at me and insulting me —CUOMO: — and people are dying.
CRUZ: — that — that — that's okay, Chris. I — you're perfectly fine to scream and yell[.]
This clip alone shows why Chris Cuomo shouldn't be where he is and have the show that he has. The fact that he has such a visceral reaction to the mere mention of his brother in a critical way means he's not able to be a journalist, at least covering politics and New York.
And here's the final product. Usually, the transcript can be found at the bottom of the blog, but since it was so long (21 pages!), I attached it as a link to a PDF newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/curti…
