...Chief amongst them was the Ogbunigwe, a weapon system that incorporated long range surface and air missiles.
It's such a sad shame this level of technological advancement ended with the war.

Television Boom (1970-79)
Nigeria didn't only witness an oil boom in the 70s, but an explosion of TV broadcasting which spurred the creation of a TV station in each state, all combining later in the late 70s to form the (in)famous Nigerian Television Authority NTA.

Not many will forget the advent of the GSM network in Nigeria at the turn of this millennium. A remarkable feat of technological reform by the Obasanjo Government that has spurred so much revolutions in the digital space down the years.
