Another thread on successful revival of an ancient Shiva temple. Akhilandeshwari sametha Agastheeswara mudaiya Mahadevar temple in Keezh Kolathur near Cheyyar, Thiruvannamalai dt, TN.
@pollaavinayen @punarutthana This temple possibly dating back to 9th century.
When Annamalai Arappani Kuzhu did Uzhavarapani on 01.11.2015, the temple was found to be incomplete.

After Uzhavarapani, the team also installed Shiva lingam and other idols.
The efforts of villagers and devotees culminated in Kumbhabhishekam of the reconstructed temple on 18.02.2015.
