1. If SARS drives you to the ATM to withdraw money, you can enter wrong pin until the ATM machine swallows your card.
2. You can equally go into the bank and call for help then wait inside. SARS won’t come inside the bank to arrest you.

3. Open an account and only leave 5k or less in it, then take the card with you whenever you go out. If asked to open your bank app, you can log into the acct with the lower balance and show them.
If you know you’re going to be pulled over by SARS, turn on Airplane mode on your phone to disable internet connection, which wouldn’t allow anyone to log into your bank app or social media accounts.
These might not work for everyone but it is worth trying, for your own safety.
You guys spend so much time focusing on what SARS can do to you, and not on what they don’t know. If SARS officials were as intelligent as you guys claim, they won’t ask you to transfer money to their accounts knowing their ID could be traced that way.
They are only brutal and not as intelligent as you think.
