Sharing my simple talking points for people who are hesitant to get #CovidVaccine because they fear vaccine creation was rushed.
🧵

When asked -is this a rushed vaccine? I reply- Yes, AND...
Here's some background, think of coronavirus like a last name. My last name is Chapple, there's many Chapples. Researchers have been working on vaccines for the coronavirus family for years.

Now that one member of the family needs the vaccine, the vaccine scientist from across the globe that have been working on vaccines for this family of coronaviruses are working around the clock to get one specific for Covid-19.

Think If all the women in your family came to clean your house. It would get done, efficiently, and quickly, but would you look down on the rushed job? It would probably be better than if you did it on your own because you'd get tips from others.

so... is this a rushed job? Yes.
Does rushed mean bad? No.
Were they starting from scratch? No.
Will I trust it? Yes.

Why trust it?
The vaccine makers have pledged that they will not seek FDA approval until phase 3 testing is done. That has never happened before. They are doing this to earn our trust. Vaccine makers have been transparent in sharing the data and pausing trials as necessary.

Will I get the vaccine? Yes, my babies and I will get the vaccine when available.
