Dear Scholarship Applicants,

I strongly advise you not to lie in your application.

Alternatively, I’ll advise you to package your CV and make it stand out.

Leadership and volunteering roles are good selling points, let me show you some tricks:

1) Mr A wrote : I served as Financial Secretary of my Department between 2018-2019.

Mr B wrote: I managed, organized and coordinated financial records of over 1,000 students between 2018-2019.

2) Mr A wrote: My role as choirmaster exposed me to organizing and coordinating projects.

Mr B : As the Chief Musical Director of X, I led a team of 100 chorister to the National music festival. I learnt excellent interpersonal and communication skill while doing this.

Mr A : I served as Students’ Representative Council member.

Mr B : In a keenly contested election, I emerged the winner to represent my department at the University Students’ Council where I proposed students-friendly approaches to improve academic excellence.

Mr A : I know how to code and use some softwares.

Mr B: I have 200 hours of Java, 500 hours of Python 🐍, 100 hours of R coding experience. I have built applications using my codes (link)

Who will get the Scholarship? Mr A or Mr B.

Are you Mr A or Mr B ?

Drop a leadership or volunteering role in your words, let a Scholar help you repackage it.
