China Virome Project is asking itself: What happened to me?
A short thread.
EcoHealth Alliance was working with UC Davis [PREDICT], Wuhan Institute of Virology's ████████i for this project.
If only we had people that, you know, were asking basic questions like, whatever happened to this project?
Which viruses were sampled, and where?
A question no one is asking, but should be.
Wait a second. Gao Fu was leading both the projects – the China Virome Project as well as the China Academy of Sciences "Special Project". And the timeline matches perfectly.
Could it be that — they are the one and the same? #justasking
EcoHealth even wired money to Gao Fu's institute, around the same time.
Coincidence? Who knows.
And could this be related?
Could it reflect that they were interested in further sampling of the Mojiang mine perhaps?
I don't know, but what else could it be!
Could it be that they even sampled the Mojiang mineshaft in 2018?
Well, it seems to be what is occurring.
I don't see why they wouldn't. From the PhD thesis supervised by Gao Fu:
Think I got that one right.
