Let's break down what's in the atrocious bill Georgia Governor Kemp just signed into law.

SB 202 makes it a crime to provide beverages to others who are in line to vote.

It disenfranchises most out-of-precinct voters, those casting provisional ballots inside their counties but outside their one assigned polling location.

It shortens the period to request an absentee ballot.

It prohibits government agencies from sending absentee ballot applications to voters.

It requires that drop-boxes are only available at early vote locations and accessible during voting hours.

It creates shortfalls in county election budgets with unfunded mandates.

It makes runoff elections near impossible to administer by holding them just 28 days after general elections.

And it replaces the State Board of Elections Chair with one chosen by lawmakers, not voters.

This legislation undermines our democracy and the political power of Black voters.

LET PEOPLE VOTE.
