I went along the Three Distilleries Path on #Islay to pay homage to Islayβs whisky culture, while tasting the 5 whiskies in Aprilβs tasting pack. βοΈπ₯π₯°

1st distillery, #Ardbeg π₯βοΈ.
1st @SMWSUK whisky:
Candles, kumquats, and polished oak. Lowland, 31 y. Oof that polished oak smell is stronggggg! But it did taste like delightful kumquats π₯°
2nd distillery: #Lagavulin
2nd @SMWSUK whisky:
Fruit market - Candy store. Highlands, 9y
Tastes like that banana candy favor! ππ¬
3rd distillery: #Laphroaig π₯π₯
3rd @SMWSUK #whisky: Wood smoke through a port hole. Highland, 13y.
This one is smoky! π₯π₯π₯
4th @SMWSUK whisky: give free rein to imagination. Highland, 9y. 61.9% ABV π³
I am getting red! And it is getting windy!!
