These two twisters have blocked me because I have challenged their narrative, & they are unable to answer. They work for 'My World in Data'. This thread will take on their skewed corruption of 'data' to fuel narratives suiting those that fund them. To start with, who are funding?

Well there's a surprise...a one man band until they got considerable funding from these two sources.
Remember too, that Gates is hugely invested in 'disruptive' alternatives to livestock.

So, they regularly look land used by livestock, deforestation etc & relate two. This where numerical data can mislead. NO wonder Gates says Roser is one of his favourite economists. Roser appears on face of things driven by consideration poverty & inequality. Reminder Gates worth

his commitment to 'disrupt' livestock communities, and what he is already up to in Africa with his 'Green Revolution, lining the pockets of big WEF concerns, redistributing it from African people via industrialized crops fertilizer spivvery & seed patents. A new Imperialism that

in no way shape or form can be said to be in the interest of African people. Indeed, the traditional 'wealth' of Africa is seen as livestock, and a look at Namibia, a land of rich biodiversity with 84% animal ag because it is MARGINAL land. No primary forest there. But meat & co

produce wool karakul of immense importance to livelihoods on these marginal lands. LIfe in Namibia is hard with HIV rife & life expectancy just 45 yrs old, so these livelihoods are important. The Himba in particular livestock are considered their wealth. So you'd think an

economist with a genuine interest in equality/poverty would see how important livestock are both in terms of meat and valuable (& karakul & its wool is valuable) to extended livelihoods re clothing weaving carpets etc, not to mention Namibia has highest & rising cheetah inventory

Now contrast Congo. Congo DOES have considerable primary forest & is subsistence ag for crops eating in to it. Can't blame them, extreme poverty drives it, & few livestock c 300k and mainly plant based diets <10kg pp yr. Few livestock there are they are literally fighting over.

So without nuanced examination easy to 'twist' what's going on globally.Of course, some biggest deforestation issues have been because plant based ag; who can forget mega rice project, area size of Belgium primary forest destroyed for rice that couldn't grow & huge carbon bomb

and they are still at it with rebranded names for their destruction & dooming of livelihoods like transmigration. OH the irony of them being iinvolved with EatLancet, Chatham House & the WEF plant based spivvery.

Indonesia being world's leading deforester atm & last to be taking about sustainability or health with malnutrition rife & again very little meat consumption. Talk about doublethink. Then you have their plywood, a CRAP material for 'fast furniture' mob like IKEA, who replaced

furniture made to last centuries. Broke it, for furniture breaks even quicker & up to same re deforestation elsewhere too eg Ukraine. And farcically promoting fake meat & talking circular re-use to justify it all. Fake meatballs indeed more WEF mobster con

Then there is palm oi. There is NO sustainable palm oil don't buy it - another con and research showed even that which claimed to be was actually deforested within last 30 yrs most recently. independent.co.uk/climate-change…

Wonder what ever we did before palm oil eh? Oh, we used tallow - from LIVESTOCK, in cosmetics foods candles soap etc you know from same land sources as MEAT, and often from heavily forested areas to boot over centuries even millenia

Indeed people just don't know the extent to which palm oil guilty of all that deforestation has replaced tallow in so many everyday products.

Then there's soya, which for a moment there LIz Bonin & the BBC, had convinced was caused by beef. Except, one think even My World in Data couldn't manage to skew, as it's bloody obvious to everyone is farming that it was never true. Yep your dog & cat eat as much. Ah but it be

those Brazilian cows and all that corned beef then. Errr...NO. 90% of Brazil's herd is PASTURE fed. Now true, in the 1970s there was a fair bit of deforestation for cattle there but main driver since has been land speculation mainly for crops mainly for soya. Sure, cattle go in

often to trample & fertilize, but not main reason for deforestation now. Indeed WWF before they took WEF dosh & became ecofascists USED to know this as tbh common sense. Certainly wasn't UK cattle driving soya demand 63% of import to UK human use as Sustainable Food Trust showed

So what IS driving demand for all that soya & Brazil deforestation? Majority of it poultry & pigs China. And PRIMARILY needed because they have had to destroy natural pasture at a rate of 1.5 MILLION hectares a year in massive industrialization to supply the west with.... CRAP.

Such irony because of course China was famed for millennia re trade for one of finest most durable beautiful and reassuringly expensive fabrics: SILK (dress 1957 still fab). Which also, provides FOOD. As well as their & Mongolia's pastures providing unique sheepskin & cashmere

So in a very real way cause of soya imports & Brazilian deforestation is the move to mass produced tat by western corporates invested in cheaper at cost of slave labour sources, for stuff not durable & fills landfills. Good luck trying to buy a silk dress in the high st or

anything else of the quality clothing used to be made from as standard ie from animals. Trainers last 6 months v leather shoes 20 yrs min. In that 20 yrs is 1.3 tonnes per person emissions cost to, and coal power in China driving all this consumerism AND slavery to boot.

Of course they can't make computers out of wool, but they COULD make them to LAST. Instead, their business model like the fast fashion swindlers, is inbuilt obsoletion model. So whatever you buy from the WEF corporates, is NOT sustainable, yet they PAY academia & NGOs to deflect

from the causes of all this, with doublethink. Laughably so in some cases here's H&M , in with those nasty ecofascists the WEF funded WWF. Recycled crap is still crap &justifies its continued production. And, it does NOT feed people keep them warm etc so more fossil fuel needed.

Now here is one of biggest funders of WWF, Grantham, who just loves big data. His outdated elitist Malthusian beliefs that Africa is 'overpopulated' & China's industrial scientific & technical know how can save the world at odds with it however, & some of his agenda transparent

Can't make it up can you? Well the twisters the WEF mob employ try their best.
1. Africa is not overpopulated
2. What WWF are doing is an affront to humanity
3. China & WEF don't have the solutions they have caused the probs including of deforestation.
4. Problems are the elite

re wealth inequality poverty and eco & consumption problems, and they are NOT fit to be dictating solutions through all these NGO academic & media twisting accountants. More on culture livelihoods & animal produce & genuine sustainability they provide here

So like all mobsters WEF love corrupt accountants & while My World in Data just a tiny part global network paid to spin yarns & not wool. One good thing: even Al Capone caught out because fraudulent accountancy & my hope people will see what a crock WEF paid accountants producing

NB 'Our World in Data' of course it should read.
