The fact that @eucopresident did not notice the issue is exactly where the problem lies.

@IratxeGarper regrets that most EP political groups rejected our proposal for a full plenary debate on the #sofagate.

To rectify the disastrous image of the #sofagate, @eucopresident must show firmer commitment to gender equality.

The @EUCouncil must unblock the Women on Boards Directive, a fundamental instrument to continue breaking glass ceilings.

We are still very far from gender equality! @IratxeGarper asks @vonderleyen to bring forward new initiatives to fight violence against women.
