@CBCEyeopener We visit Silver Springs and Bowmont Park with our dogs. First two from Oct 2020, last two from March 2021

I agreed with your inclusion of Silver Springs Gardens.
I missed the name of the hashtag your guest uses for Calgarians wishing to share suggestions of good spots for photography in the city, or I'd include it in this tweet.

walking along the ridge in Silverthorn Park, to Bowmont Park, & Bowness Park, then the Bow River pathway(s), & including Twin Bridges = a great loop. Takes time, & you need to wear sneakers or other shoes with good treads - for coming down the ridge, but worth it (NW Calgary)

here's a couple from Bowness Lagoon: one of trees with lights at Christmas one, and one of my sons & our dogs this past February.

I'm trying to show the area in different seasons. Here are a couple from Bowmont Park from last July. The first one includes a dragonfly

the best NW Calgary park for lookouts that include the city skyline, is Nose Hill Park. I'll have to look in my pictures' folder later on, to see if I have some pics to add. Nothing on hand right now

Silver Springs ridge, looking westward during sunset - is another good place for photos (IMHO). I'm also including Tara, and Bentley (blep) - this was during the same walk, but before sunset

this sign shows the area - good views of COP, Rockies, train bridges, Bow River, duck ponds, wild grasses, and so on. I like the boardwalks. I'm not crazy about heights & find some of the dirt paths feel less stable to me, when on some of the steeper hillsides - but doable
