THREAD: Many recall the 2019 blunder when Dan briefly changed his main profile's picture to MJ at the pool.
He quickly removed it. Simultaneously, the pic was added to the now suspended TheRealMJStory ("RMJS") account.
Now I'll share a much less known backstory on this subject.
April 4, 2019—RMJS was created w/ a Gmail account soliciting "MJ victim stories."
April 6, 2019—Dan changed his own avatar to the MJ pic. After fans tweeted about it, he quickly replaced it.
RMJS falsely alleged fans Photoshopped Dan's page. But Google had already cached it.
April 8, 2019—A fan replies to RMJS addressed to Dan, who by this point has been obsessively raging in defense of LN, the train station exposé etc.
RMJS responds in 1st person, as Dan, about a request for interview from @Zigmanfreud: "If I had any interest I would've responded."
Introducing "AndrewMoeller"
Before the drama of Dan/RMJS spinning careless alt-account antics as conspiracy, AM spawned on Reddit—mostly taking refuge in the "No Defenders" guilter sub.
AM self-deleted his account after another "accidental Dan" mishap. I have partial archives.
For starters, AM posted a lengthy excuse for creating "a 2nd Twitter account" (RMJS) while doing all he could to distance himself from Dan and calling it a fan conspiracy.
He avoids answering why Dan may've switched to the same profile pic then back, or why he responded as Dan.
AM posted details gleaned from WR/JS that weren't part of LN or public info.
E.g., he shared specific figures of James' & wife's salaries to prove "they don't need money."
AM swiftly deleted those posts; here's a more generic one where he references salaries & parents' lawsuit.
It becomes clear through AM's posts that the origin of his research begins & ends with MJFacts w/ a dash of Maureen Orth. He mentions this in almost every post alongside "Watch LN!"
This aligns perfectly with Dan, who made strikingly similar factual errors to AM in some talks.
At one point AM discusses James as a "little boy" who testified in 94.
A user quotes the interview where Dan falsely claimed James was only 10 or 11 at that time (he was 16).
AM, suddenly resuming 1st person as Dan again, responds with: "I admitted I was wrong..."
Fascinating.
Most interestingly—in presuming AM/RMJS was a Dan sockpuppet based on known data—we can glimpse what elements he believed in as part of working into the story for LN2.
In this response to someone observing similarities of JS & MJWML he defends VG and insists the book is factual.
In another instance, AM proclaimed Michael Jacobshagen "will become a bigger issue for stans soon since he is part of a new doc. I believe him 100%."
RMJS shared an unseen photo of Jacobshagen being interviewed.
Even guilters told him to avoid him for a film—but he still might.
By far, most of AM's time was spent defending the disastrous train station lie.
Many responses echo Dan's tweets ("JS never claimed abuse ended in 92")—ignoring the lawsuits & declaration that Dan apparently still had never read.
Sometimes he expanded much further in excuses.
In AM's version of train station excuses, new & added info in excusing it included:
- The sequence "served as a way to show the size of Neverland"
- JS snapped the photos himself (post-94/95)
- JS is unlikely to address any of it
- JS never specified what station abuse was in 😂
At other points AM gives more wild excuses, including that the photos of the train station were all James had on hand, not that he really meant that building. (I wonder what other two story train station existed since 1990?)
When all else fails? Blame lies on "emotional trauma."
But my favorite excuse from AM over the lack of research into the train station before including it in the documentary, has to be:
"I also have never heard of someone checking the blueprints of a building for a documentary on sexual abuse."
Because why investigate anything?!
AM stoops as low on the barrier of fact-finding to pull in "reputable sources like Vanity Fair," including the hoax of the sex tape w/ nephew, even claiming "most of the stuff has been confirmed to be true" 😆
Note how Dan likewise shares Vanity Fair stories about MJ on Twitter.
Even as "himself" (ignoring alt theories) the acts by Dan have been unprecedented in director history.
He swapped his profile to MJ & boys, attacks "stans" (a term used constantly by AM as well), ignores photovisual evidence and concocts narratives from tabloids & his own mind.
Other actions by this self-proclaimed documentarian that I've never seen elsewhere:
- Multi-wardrobe photo shoots and cover shots, rockstar style.
- Committing perjury in a court declaration just to portray an "Emmy Winning" documentary as immaculate and without a single error.
Bonus comment from AM about the "train trolls," one of many similar:
"This is what they do with all evidence. They take it out of context, fake it and try to mislead as many people that will listen."
Good thing Dan has never done that, like from the first clip of LN onward. 🤥
