What’s there to investigate? You already impeached Trump for it and spoke the last 4 months as if everything is figured out.

@ChrisRBarron once again, it’s a feature; not a bug. (Feature being that useful, self-stabbing idiots are Republicans).

The Ranking Republican on the Homeland Security committee in Congress (@RepJohnKatko) voted to impeach Trump for 1/6/21.

He is establishing a bipartisan commission that will look as to what led to the 1/6/21 which Katko already thinks Trump caused it so Y need a commission?

The latest is yet another example of my point that idiots/losers are Republicans.

The only PR outcome of a 1/6/21 commission will be to blame Trump so why agree? The leading Republican to organize this commision voted to impeach Trump for 1/6/21 so you know where this is going.

The move to oust @Liz_Cheney from leadership won’t fix the issue that self-defeating losers are Republicans:

GOP agrees to a commission that will again blame Trump for 1/6 which will put GOP on the defensive again.

WORSE: The GOPer to form this VOTED TO IMPEACH TRUMP FOR 1/6.

Stated objective of the Commission is to investigate the circumstances of 1/6 “as well as contributing factors that may have provoked” it.

A House that blamed Trump for provoked it will investigate who provoked it with the help of a GOPer who already impeached Trump for it.

A partially functioning republican party leadership would demand that the commission should investigate political unrest as a whole not just 1/6/21 which would include dozens of deaths last year during BLM/ANTIFA riots. But pushing that is too a heavy lift for chronic pushovers.

It appears that @GOPLeader and @SteveScalise are pushing back against the 1/6/21 commission whose chief states objective is to see what provoked it which means 5 months of Trump bashing. Crazier is that @RepJohnKatko (who voted to impeach Trump) was the liaison on this.

“Given the Speaker’s shortsighted scope that does not examine interrelated forms of political violence in America, I cannot support this legislation,” @GOPLeader @kevinomccarthy.

4 days ago I tweeted that the GOP should ask for a look at overall political violence.

The @SenateGOP will likely give @SenateDems the needed votes to create a Blame Trump Commission.

9 months after the commission concludes its blames Trump work, the @EWErickson class of the GOP will demand that Trump Voters come out for the @SenateGOP in the Midterms.

Many Senate GOPs already blamed Trump for 1/6/21 and even voted to impeach him for it. What is the practical or political value of a Blame Trump Commission?

If you operate with the understanding that idiotic, Stockholm Syndrome sufferers are Republicans, it makes sense. Sad.
