#StopAsianHate? It’s our duty to dispel myth and challenge propaganda that aims to scapegoat Black people as racist hate-crime-merchants/anti-Asian. There has been some egregious anti-Black racism from Asians in modern history. A thread:
1. Gandhi was an anti-Black racist.

9. When the pandemic first started—Black people were pouring their hearts out for Asians and tripping over themselves to show “solidarity.” Meanwhile in China, Black people were discriminated against, kicked out of homes, and blamed for covid. hrw.org/news/2020/05/0…
