Many of such vedic/sastric Gurukulams are run by pvt trusts/individuals with meagre donations offered by few dharmics. Teachers there get very min dakshina for teaching them scriptures for hours together. If they die, not much their family members get. Its unorganised sector.
If they've saved in insurance, they might get something. Otherwise nothing. I've bn pleading w Govt to recognize these Veda/Sastra patasalas&give 100% tax waiver.Our dharmic society wd take care of them. Secular Govt needn't protect them. Instead spend in billions on somthng else

This teacher Kompella Satyanarayana Sastri of Kovvuru, A.P was the teacher for Vyakaranam to both those2young scholars (B.V.Venkatramana & Mohana sarma) who lost their lives to covid within a weeks time.None can offer solace to the Guru who lost his sons😭
