.....okay let's finish this fight. So problem with this one is the Shield is a Archie character and while DC published versions they don't own him.

This one at least HAS NUANCE, but it doesn't actually use a Golden age Grundy to show it. So......wow.

The thing about this one is that there is actually thing like characters at DC....Cinderblock is not one of them.

This one is BADLY misleading. So Artemis is a combination of characters in the YJ cartoon she's actually a bit based on Cissie King aka Arrowette, the original was a full supervillain with just a crossbow weapon.

Well First LENSMEN...second this is not Hal Jordan but Alan Scott's first year of publication date, the video has an inconsistent as fuck dating thing in comparing characters. You can look at my other posts for more examples. THIS IS GOING TO KEEP HAPPENING.

....why the fuck is Machineman here? He's a FUCKING ROBOT, not a cyborg like Deathlok...and Cyborg. There also all completely different concepts but at least Cyborg and Deathlok have a similar mecha mask thing.

Okay Clayface is a COMPLICATED example, sine the GOlden age version was just a serial killer who could change his face, while the ONE introduced in 1961 Matt Haggan had the clay monster gimmick but he's not that Similar to sandman honestly.

Brainiac back in the day was not very similar to Ultron, his original gimmick was BEING an ALIEN WHO SHRUNK CITIES. Modern versions have him be more computer like but the original and Ultron are VERY DIFFERENT.

Once again this one comes down to sharing a motif. Other then the Bee theme both orgs are VERY DIFFERENT in what they do and how they've been utilized over the decades.

Do I need to point out why this is bad? Like oh wow the idea of putting a team of major heroes together belongs to only one company.....like your not even going to say the Justice Society who did it first?......

THE GL CORP WAS CREATED IN THE 60'S MOTHERFUCKER THE 60'S! COME ONE JESUS HOW HOW.

Just to be fair some HAVE MERIT....some....other lead me down a dark path. Of stupidity.

Look...Dr Polaris is just a dude with Magnet powers, he is not Magneto and Doctor Diehard is at least a parody of mags.

You never heard of Jeeves have you? Like this is just a trope man.

Man these characters are so similar......so similar.......I mean one is a hot rod racing member of the FF and the other is Captain Atom with multiple personalities. TOTALLY THE SAME THING AND CLEARLY A RIP OFF.

Buck Rogers or Flash Gordon are apparently foreign concepts.

if you use magic, you rip off people. Also to point this out Zatana is the daughter of Zatara who was a character from the Golden Age so she does have a bit more history there.

I mean Gizmo doesn't even use those arms that much and is more known for a jetpack.

Tracer is a Sabertooth parody, but Mammoth is not really that similar, he''s more famous for really being into his sister but other wise is just a mook.

This one is SIMILAR POWERS but not exactly, for one ONCE AGAIN a publication date fuck up that is the FIRST star sapphire and not the iconic one, besides that Moonstone is in PERFECT control of her action and not controlled by her stone.

I wow. So this one is a fuck up. Firestar was ACTUALLY created to replace the Human Torch on Spider-man and his amazing friends and Starfire....is an alien princess who doesn't have fire powers really. I mean...yeah.

Man....devil motifs are apparently exclusive to marvel.

THIS ONE IS SUPER SPECIAL. Gorrilaman was actually an anthology story character, he was meant to be a one in done horror story, while Grodd was created in the DC comics silver age gorillar villain boom. Not similar at all in anyway even backstory.

....this is bad but also why didn't he pick BETTER FUCKING art for Black Lightning. He has a 90's comic with good art.

THEY HAVE A CLOCK ON THEIR CHEST I GUESS?....Okay in all seriousness, Hourman is a legacy hero and son of the original 1940's Hourman. Hourman actually debuted in 1940.

and LAST OF THESE I THINK WORTH TALKING ABOUT. If you look up these characters besides sonics nothing similar besides maybe Irish ancestry and even then it's a stretch. This video is one of the least informed I've seen on this subject and god it was a pain seeing this.

anyway if I could go back in time I would make this a whole thread but oh well if you have not seen me talk about the others here you go
