Texas & voting machine vendor ES&S are hiding something. I requested a copy of the video of the voting-system examination that triggered a secret multi-state investigation of ES&S by @EACgov last year. Texas AG Ken Paxton (Mr. “Stop the Steal”) just ruled I can’t have it. 1/
In other words, Paxton, who tried to overrule other state’s election results due to baseless claims about Dominion Voting is now engaged in a coverup about ES&S. 2/
Obviously, the video could have been trimmed to remove passwords, which should be updated regularly anyway. This is a coverup. 3/
I wrote about @EACgov’s secret investigation of @essvote’s voting systems for @whowhatwhy here. The investigation began about 40 days before the election. @EACgov has so far failed to produce a single document in response to my FOIA. 4/whowhatwhy.org/2021/03/08/ele…
I submitted a formal response to ES&S’s bogus objection in which I pointed out that passwords could be trimmed from the video. Paxton ignored it. Seriously. What are they hiding?! 5/
.@KenPaxtonTX, pls explain yourself to the American public. You too, @essvote and @EACgov. Thanks. 6/

I requested documents from @EACgov about its secret investigation of @essvote (which was referenced in documents produced by Texas) in January. They had not posted anything about it on their website. They have yet to produce a single responsive document. #BrokenSystem 8/
When I posted about @EACgov’s unreasonable delay months ago, they finally wrote me and said they would try to produce documents by May 14. That day came and went. Crickets. 9/
The next step would be for me to sue Paxton to get the improperly withheld video. I’ll look into this more next week. 10/ texasattorneygeneral.gov/open-governmen…
