separately, a facey post today claims:
"a pic of the callide turbine… VERY destroyed LP turbine casing in the background… broken piece is part of its shaft."
despite this damage, the QLD government owned corp, CS energy, @CSEnergyQld fully intends to repair the unit and return to service.
CS energy is hoping that insurance will cover the hundreds of $millions of repairs.

callide unit 4 had a minor overhaul last year. (i missed this earlier.)
(these things are overhauled regularly.)
