This colourful character is Welsh Tory MP Jamie Wallis, elected in 2019.

He was a member of Pencoed council until 2018, when he was replaced because of non-attendance at meetings. He claimed he'd resigned from the council by letter, but the council hadn't received the letter. 🤔

Wallis was an owner of Fields Holdings Ltd, the parent company of Action Direct, a former claims management company of which Wallis was a director in 2011 when following an investigation into the company's conduct, the MoJ banned it from taking on further employment claims work.

In July 2010, an FOI request asking how many complaints or referrals to Trading Standards had been made about a Field House associated company Rapid Data Recovery Ltd, returned the response that between 1/1/2009 & mid-2010, 37 complaints had been received.

More than 800 complaints were made to trading standards about a group of businesses run by him.

He was elected in 2019, & since then he's has quit as a director of at least seven companies which offer services including 'data recovery & data security'.

An investigation in 2020 found Wallis had been a co-owner of a 'sugar daddy' dating website "which offered students financial relationships with wealthy 'sponsors'".

Wallis initially denied links to the company, but had been a director & shareholder of the site's parent company.
