Q. What clicks in your mind when you think of "Spotify"?
A. MUSIC, & why not, it's just an audio songs app.

NO. It's not just a music app anymore but a rising propaganda machine targeting the youth of the country who are major subscribers base, via their podcasts.

Popular among youngsters, the App grabbed decent footprint (2+mn subs), since launched (Feb19). Music-loving nation & smartphone explosion brought better revenue & branding (got 3x after IND launch), further pushed with 2mn PODCAST hosting. Announced 12 more IND lang in Apr21

The problem is not making business. The problem comes here-
Spotify tied up with The Indian Express for their PODCASTs '3Things'. Now just look at the subject & the narrative they are injecting here in the series. Stan Swamy, Kalita bail, "Ayodhya land scam", "Loni assault",

"Modi worsens economy", Bengal's prep for 3rd wave, Mukul Roy's returns TMC, Pawar's meeting/opp. coming together against BJP, KRL HC stays Lakshadweep reform.. and whatnot!! Even if you can't spend time listening all, just read the description & the rest is self-explanatory.

If this isn't enough, look at the other Podcast channels that Spotify host- Quint,NewsLaundry,ThePrint, Ashraf Engg,WSJ,NYT,BBC etc. Is anybody left..? Yes, none other than ultra propagandist Dhruv Rathee!! Now that makes list complete. Isn't birds of a feather flock together?

A Swedish co making bucks in IND while partnering these anti-India, anti-govt elements, who spew venom against own country, spread negativity d&n, gradually making room in youngsters sub-conscious mind to brainwash them is nothing but just another tactic of info-war ecosystem!

NO @eldsjal @spotifyindia @AmarBatra, it doesn't work like this! You may have your personal biases, political opinions, but do not use essentially a music app, as a propaganda hub like this that affects the masses. Spotify must review podcast content & channel choices!
