Coronavirus restrictions in Wales will be further relaxed from Saturday with the country becoming broadly in line with England and Scotland.

But, what is the state of #COVID19 in Wales? news.sky.com/story/covid-19…

73% of adults in Wales are double vaccinated, a higher proportion that the other UK nations

Deputy chief medical officer Dr Gill Richardson has said “booster” doses will start being given to eligible people in September

However, Dr Richardson has said she's concerned some younger adults weren’t coming forward for vaccination - a quarter of 18-39 year olds have not received their first dose

The success of the vaccine roll out has weakened the link between cases and hospitalisations, although health officials say it hasn’t yet been broken.

Despite a recent rise in cases, the number of people admitted to hospital with #COVID19 remains close to record low levels

So what are the rules from Saturday?

6⃣Up to six people can meet indoors
🎉Organised indoor events can hold 1,000 people seated, or 200 standing
🧑‍🤝‍🧑Requirement to social distance, will be scrapped

A relaxation to "level zero" will occur on 7 August if cases remain low, but there will be some restrictions:

💼Working from home when possible
⚠️COVID risk assessments for businesses
😷Masks a legal requirement on public transport & indoor public places
