/ ***Thread - Freie Burger Kassel - the organisation behind #Melbourneprotest & #sydneyprotest ***
This is a very strange tale about the German organisation 'Freie Burger Kassel' and how from humble beginnings, this tiny outfit has spurred large scale protests around the world.

/ The following is an absolute ride and I promise you the ending is worth hanging around for.
The protests that took place in Australia yesterday, were apart of a global day of "covid restrictions?" protests that occurred around the globe - "World wide demonstration 3.0"

/ Each city has a uniform poster style, giving the appearance this is a centrally organised global effort. Notice the hashtag. Remind you of any other dangerous US psy op? So who is the group organising these mass protests simultaneously around the globe?

/ A modest outfit from the German town of Kassel who call themselves "freie buerger kassel", translated to "the free citizens of Kassel."

/ You may remember their covid19 protests around the globe in March & May this year. These protests were fanned by many qanon type linked online groups. nbcmontana.com/news/nation-wo…

/ So exactly how big is this group 'freie buerger kassel", and how do they have access to the funds and resources to seemingly pull off the colossal logistical task of over 180 world wide protests occurring simultaneously? Well, it would appear this is all a façade.

/ After the large protests in May, the legends at @LogicallyAI performed a detailed analysis on online interactions of the group, and provided a great view of their operating model, which seemingly is one of limited promotion.

/ As Joe & Jordan demonstrate using online activity charts, FBK merely act almost as a franchisee to the protests - setting the dates, providing standardised event posters (Canva), website templates (Wordpress) and initial telegram channels for communication.

/ The group essentially pass all other elements of the protests onto enthusiastic local conspiracy theorists to execute. This is why there is such a disconnect between FBK's qanon leaning ideals and that of the majority of people marching in say Melb & Syd.

/ This movement has really taken on a life of its own, completely detached from the original organising group. Flames fanned at the local level by economic anxiety and taken advantage of by alt-right conspiracy theorists for promotion of their fringe beliefs.

/ Whilst tens of thousands of people took to the streets of Melbourne and Sydney, at ground zero for this supposed movement, in Kassel, Germany, the group's founder 'Sunny' from Kassel was addressing the Kassel march #ks2407 telegram channel by a video message.

/ In an effort to evade police, she gave the protesters the cryptic hint that they would see the movements founder 'in an ice cream parlour'. What unfolded, much to the delight and ridicule of Kassel locals, was that the small contingent that actually did show up

/ were met with twice as many police and no "Sunny" in sight. I highly recommend a scroll through the #ks2407 tag to enjoy some German humour at the expense of an alt right conspiracy theorist.

/ It would appear that those participating in Australia's marches, for what ever reason they decided to do so, have been conned into promoting the agenda of a conspiracy group from a small town in Germany, which couldn't even attract 50 people to a protest in her home town.
