🧶After days of work, the most eagerly anticipated piece of Olympic clothing is complete.

🏊‍♂️The majority of his cardigan was lovingly knitted by the poolside.

Viewers will have seen Daley being handed bags of yarn to work on throughout the Olympics as he watched his team-mates compete

Daley showed off his creation on social media:

🇯🇵'Tokyo' is written in Japanese on the front
🇬🇧The Team GB logo is on the back with the Olympic rings

🧶Daley said: "When I got to Tokyo, I wanted to make something that would remind me of the Olympics to look back on in the future."

🥇"I designed a pattern for the colour work that would signify everything about these games!"

🧶Daley learned to knit and crochet prior to the Olympics to help him stay calm.

Now, he's hoping his hobby will raise money for the Brain Tumour Charity.

In 2011, Daley's father Robert died from a brain tumour

🥇Tom even made a GB pouch to hold the gold medal he won alongside Matty Lee in the men's synchronized 10m platform

🏊‍♂️On Friday, Tom Daley returns to action at the Tokyo Aquatics Centre for the preliminary rounds of the men's 10m platform

🥇Hopefully his new cardigan brings him good luck!
