Instead, he privately told colleagues he wasn't even trying, and pretended that his own Parliamentarian - who could be overruled or fired - could stop him. 4/
Biden promised he would lower the Medicare eligibility age and implement a public option.
Instead, he has blocked any meaningful healthcare expansion despite a raging pandemic. 5/
Biden promised he would beat Covid by listening to experts and implementing a nationwide mask mandate.

Instead, he has expanded deportations, increased ICE's funding, and doubled the amount of migrants in detention camps. 14/
Biden promised he would end the detention of migrant children.
Instead, Biden has opened more overcrowded for-profit camps and tripled the number of kids in cages, denying them proper access to masks, medicine, food, clothes, showers, sleep, sunlight, and their families. 15/

Fulfilling his promise to hire a 100,000-person public health corps to combat the pandemic would’ve actually been the most FDR-like thing Biden’s done.
But of course he quietly abandoned that promise to no accountability as well... 28/
