I traveled to 20+ countries with a third-world country passport.

These are the 6 countries that changed my perspective on life the most.

First of all, I'm from Morocco.

A North African country
Few kilometers away from Europe,
across the Mediterranean sea.

Unfortunately, our passport is weak
So you need a visa 90% of the time if you want to go somewhere.

INDONESIA

There is more to Southeast Asia than exotic beaches and cocktails.

- Family is more important than anything else
- How they respect their History is incredible
- You can find fewer beggars than in many developed countries

USA

At first, I felt like being in a movie or playing GTA.
But after few weeks, you understand that the people may have the same struggles as in third world countries.

FINLAND

Sunsets at "almost" midnight are a crazy experience.
This was June Helsinki, but to the locals, it was no big deal.
They even recommended I go north if I want to enjoy 24H sun Days.

SINGAPORE

So many cultures are stuck on a small rock, yet they are all living together.
You can travel from China to India, to Malaysia by walking down the street.

+ What you can achieve if you work hard for 50 years is mindblowing.

BRAZIL

After so many stories about crime and violence, and warnings about going out at night, I felt safe in brazil.
This was in touristic areas, and even in random places.

I guess that it helps to be from a third-world country and to look over your shoulder often.

RUSSIA

All that we know about Russia is from American movies.

If you go there you'll see that:

- The people are nice
- You will feel safe
- The country is more developed than you think
- The metro stations are Masterpieces
